Willis Newson is one of the UK's leading arts and health consultancies. We use art to create positive, welcoming and engaging health & social care environments.

We are passionate about the power of art to change cultures, improve wellbeing and connect communities.

We have carried out projects in acute, community and mental health settings across a range of departments including paediatrics, older adults and dementia care, medium secure units, adolescent units, bereavement and sanctuary spaces.

With years of experience working in the Arts & Health sector we bring a wide range of skills to projects, including:

Project management
We manage projects from conception to installation, integrating art into the design of large capital developments as well as smaller refurbishment projects in hospitals, care homes and health centres.

Specialised art for healthcare knowledge
We have particular expertise in the field of public art commissioning, along with experience of using art to create caring environments for; children and young people, older patients, cancer care, mental health, residential dementia care and more.

Creative consultation & engagement
We build creative approaches to engagement in order to ensure the art and design has relevance and meaning for staff, patients and local communities.

Willis Newson delivers sensitive, inspiring and imaginative projects that improve wellbeing and quality of life.

We take a creative, ambitious yet practical approach to integrating art and architecture in order to create excellent healthcare environments which boost health and wellbeing for patients.
